I am pleased to join the Doctors On Site team as a focused practice General Practitioner in Dermatology. I see patients through our virtual platform, with in-person dermatologic procedures and lesion assessments performed by me in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as clinically indicated.
Background & Training
I completed my M.B.B.S. in Pakistan in 2012 and initially worked in Surgical Oncology at one of the tertiary care hospitals in Lahore. I then moved to the Republic of Ireland and joined the General Surgery Department at University Hospital Kerry for 2.5 years, followed by a Surgical Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
In 2019, I joined the Wessex Deanery for formal training in Family Medicine. During this time, I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology from the University of Cardiff. After completion, I worked as a GP for South Coast Medical Group, where I served as the Skin Cancer and Dermatology Clinical Lead.
Clinical Focus
My clinical expertise includes the virtual assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including:
- Acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and other inflammatory skin conditions
- Acute and chronic rashes, dermatitis, allergic skin reactions, and chronic pruritus
- Mole checks, pigmented lesions, suspicious skin lesions, and skin cancer screening
- Benign skin growths — warts, skin tags, cysts, lipomas, seborrheic keratoses
- Fungal, bacterial, and viral skin, hair, and nail infections
- Hair loss, alopecia, nail disorders, and scalp conditions
- Hyperpigmentation, melasma, and other pigment disorders
- Excessive sweating and other chronic dermatologic concerns
- Follow-up of biopsy results and procedural skin care
Procedural Care
Patients requiring biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, lesion removal, and other dermatologic procedures will be assessed virtually first and then booked directly with me for in-person care within the GTA.
